Found amongst my late mother’s papers:
The Heavenly Vision
I dreamed death came to me one night, and Heaven’s gate
grew wide,
With kindly grace St. Peter came and ushered me inside.
And there to my astonishment were folks I knew on earth,
Those I had labelled as unfit, and of little worth.
Indignant words arose to my lips, that never were set
free,
For every face showed stunned surprise – NO ONE EXPECTED
ME!
